Young babies and change tables

Myth: You can safely leave a young baby who doesn't roll around yet unsupervised on a change table.

Fact: Even a baby that does not seem able to roll, can roll off a change table. You never know when a baby will start to roll, so you can't take the risk of leaving a baby of any age unattended on a change table. Babies can suffer serious head injuries and fractures if they fall from a change table. It is crucial to constantly hold and watch babies of all ages when using a change table.
