Should I replace my old pram with one that meets the mandatory standard?

A pram or stroller is not necessarily unsafe just because it was made or supplied before the mandatory standard came into effect. You should take care when using any pram or stroller, whether or not it meets the minimum requirements of the mandatory standard. If you are buying a new pram or stroller your should certainly only buy one that meets the mandatory standard. Ask the supplier for proof of this.
