Reduced fire risk cigarettes - Supplier guide

Under the Australian Consumer Law, mandatory consumer product safety standards are introduced when considered reasonably necessary to prevent or reduce the risk of injury. This guide provides a summary of the requirements for supply of reduced fire risk cigarettes.

This publication has been updated to refer to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 which replaced the Trade Practices Act 1974 on 1 January 2011.
