There is no manufacturing defect with this product, and the product complies with applicable Australian standards. The safety issue may arise if the monitor cord is not set up in accordance with the instructions accompanying the product, and the cord is pulled into the cot, it may become wrapped around a child’s neck and pose a risk of strangulation.
