Reasons the product is recalled
Certain cans may have been damaged prior to purchase, during storage and handling. If damaged, the pressurised cans may rupture and expel their contents. Only cans damaged prior to purchase are recalled.
The hazards to consumers
If a damaged can ruptures, the product may leak out, posing a risk of impact injury from the can itself and/or skin and/or eye irritation from the contents.
What consumers should do
Consumers should inspect can for deep scratches, indentations or punctures. If damaged stop using the product, and handle it with care to avoid rupture (wrap it in paper, double bag it and do not shake or drop it) and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
