Reasons the product is recalled

During filling of new 200 bar cylinders, several crates of cylinders were inadvertently contaminated prior to filling as water was permitted to enter the cylinder through an open fill adaptor fitted to the Inergen CV98 valve.
The water in the cylinder could, after several months, corrode the Safety Burst Disc on the valve giving rise to the potential for premature rupture of the disk at normal ambient temperatures.
