New South Wales Fair Trading Minister Anthony Roberts today said a Blacktown retailer has been ordered to pay $2,339 by Parramatta Local Court for displaying and selling toys that pose a serious safety risk to children.

A Hurstville retailer with stores in Hurstville and Wellington and formerly at Bankstown has been fined more than $20,000 by a magistrate for nine breaches of product safety regulations.
NSW Fair Trading Minister Anthony Roberts said safety checks for the Royal Easter Show had cleared showbags, with all toys and novelty items complying with product safety laws.
