Allin Towbars—Allin Towbar Heavy Duty - Part Number IS1/GM85

Identifying features

Part number IS1/GM85
The towbar can be identified by an Allin Towbars compliance sticker on the towbar or on the inside panel of the drivers door.

What are the defects?

One of the towbar fitting components may be incorrect (spacer tube) and may cause movement between the towbar arm and vehicle chassis. Continual movement between the towbar arm and chassis may cause damage to the vehicle chassis.

What are the hazards?

If the defect occurs, and a caravan or heavy trailer is being towed, heightened movement of the towbar may lead to an accident hazard for the driver or other road users.

What should consumers do?

Vehicle owners should immediately stop using the towbar and contact Allin Towbars to organise a vehicle inspection and replacement of fitting components
