BRP Australia Pty Ltd—Can-Am Spyder Roadster (this replaces recall PRA 2009/10953)
What are the defects?
A situation may occur where the rider may need to exert a force greater than expected to turn the handlebar in order to correct the vehicle's trajectory. At this increased level of force the handlebar may be turned more than the rider had intended.
What are the hazards?
If the defect occurs the vehicle may steer out of lane, which increases the possibility of a crash with other traffic or of the vehicle leaving the road.
What should consumers do?
Contact a BRP Spyder dealer as soon as possible to arrange to have the vehicle repaired, free of cost.
BRP Australia Can-Am Spyder Dealers, in all states of Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands and through distributors in Asia.
