The Starbrights Dragon is a Build-A-Bear stuffed toy covered in soft blue fabric, silver light-up horns on its head and silver wings on its back. The stuffed dragon is approximately 18 inches high and 10 inches wide. Tracking label ending with 2248 can be found on a sewn in label on the backside of the left leg of the stuffed dragon.
Reasons the product is recalled
The stitching on the satin seam at the front of the toy is faulty in some units. As a result the toys may liberate polyester fill during use and may not comply with the mandatory standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age (Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 8124.1:2003, as amended by the regulation).
The hazards to consumers
Polyester fill may present a choking hazard if ingested by infants.
What consumers should do
Guests must bring their Starbrights Dragon to a store location to process the transaction. A full refund or an exchange teddy bear to any value is offered to our guests.
If a Guest cannot make it to a store, please call the web store at Highpoint on 03 9318 6266 for assistance. Any Guest who cannot return a product to a store will be sent a postage paid bag to return their Starbrights Dragon. In turn a full refund or exchange to any value teddy bear is being offered to those guests.
A receipt is not required but we must keep the bear and cannot give it back to the Guest upon completion of the return.
