Thermadyne Turbo-Lite CTL-44 Welding Torch, also known as the "self-lighting hand torch" (Part number 308160). The product has been available for sale since 22 September 2003.
Reasons the product is recalled
The Turbo-Lite may leak under certain conditions. If ignited the leaking gas may cause an explosion resulting in serious bodily injury or property damage.
The hazards to consumers
Gas explosion.
What consumers should do
