What are the defects?

If the vehicle has a faulty rear seat latch and the rear seat belts are not fastened and the vehicle is involved in a collision, this could cause the rear seats to unlatch and unintentionally fold forward. Where a child restraint is fitted using the isofix anchors and not the seatbelt, the child restraint could be impacted by the folding seat.

What are the hazards?

Potential injury to vehicle occupants including children in child restraints using the isofix anchor and not the seat belt.
