G & R Wills Holdings—Baby Walker
What are the defects?
The baby walker does not fully meet the requirements of the mandatory standard, Trade Practices Regulations 2002, No. 219. The baby walker has a non-compliant braking system and inadequate display of the mandatory safety warning label.
What are the hazards?
Due to the braking system being non-compliant, there is no mechanism to prevent the walker from falling down stairs and injuring the child. Consumers would also be inadequately warned of such hazards due to the lack of a proper warning label.
What should consumers do?
Discontinue use immediately and return the product to the appropriate store for a full refund. For further information contact your local community store or call G & R Wills Holdings on (08) 8984 2466.
