In a small percentage of these products, the wires in the terminal box are pinched under terminal box lids.
The hazards to consumers
This defect could result in an electrical short or an earth leakage trip, which may cause an electrical shock.
What consumers should do
If the pump is installed and operating, the affected pump should be disconnected from its power source and not used. Under no circumstances should the pump unit be touched before being disconnected from its power source.
