On the affected model motorcycles, if the brake fluid is not flushed for a prolonged period of time beyond the 2 year schedule specified in the Owner’s Manual and Service Manual, a braking issue may develop.
What are the hazards?
If this condition remains undetected, it may lead to a loss of brake function on the affected wheel without notice, posing an accident hazard.

Harley-Davidson Motor Company Inc will provide a ‘one-time’ brake fluid flush, after which it will be the owners’ responsibility to have the brake fluid on their vehicles flushed every two years, as set down in their vehicle owner’s manual.
