The mitre saw was sold in all Australian states and territories from November 1996.
Reasons the product is recalled
When the saw head is in its fully upright position, the self adjusting guard of the product does not completely enclose the lower portion of the blade. In the event of improper or incorrect use by an operator, (i.e., use that does not comply with the Instruction Manual), the current blade guard configuration does not provide optimum protection from the exposed portion of the blade.
