Towbar Tongues fitted to vehicles listed below since 1 April 2000: all series VS, VT, VX and WH Commodore, Calais, Statesman, Caprice, and HSV vehicles with a 1,600kg and 2,100kg rating; TS Astras with a 2,000kg rating; TF Rodeos with a 1,800kg rating;

Towbar tongues manufactured by Frontline could break whilst towing due to a brittle condition of the material.

What should consumers do?
