What are the defects?

During manufacturing of the fuel tank, the zinc oxide generated by the tank seam welding process may have dislodged, accumulating in the fuel pump's suction filter. This may clog the filter and affect engine operation.

What are the hazards?

The engine may not accelerate smoothly and may stall. This can increase the risk of an accident, resulting in injury or death to the rider or bystanders.

What should consumers do?

Consumers should contact their nearest Honda Motorcycle dealer and arrange for their motorcycle to be repaired at their earliest opportunity.
