Plastic pistol grip 40 Watt Soldering Iron and wooden barrel type 60 Watt Soldering Iron, both fitted with a European Plug having 2 round pins. The Soldering Irons were sold at Importers Salvage Centre stores in Ardeer, Dandenong and Hoppers Crossing between July 2005 and September 2007.
Reasons the product is recalled
The Soldering Irons do not have electrical safety approval and are fitted with European plugs having 2 round pins which are not allowed to be sold in Australia. The Soldering Irons and supply flexible cords also do not have adequate insulation thickness for safe operation at 240 Vac and could result in the user receiving an electric shock.
