Jaguar Land Rover Australia Pty Ltd — Jaguar XF (X250) 2.0L GTDi petrol engine

What are the defects?

The installation of the under floor fuel pipe assembly has insufficient clearance between the under floor fuel pipes and the vehicle under shield and body, leading to a chafe condition.

What are the hazards?

This may cause a fuel smell inside the vehicle. When the vehicle is parked the owner may notice a pooling of fuel underneath the vehicle, which in the presence of an ignition source could lead to a fire.

What should consumers do?

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted directly and advised to contact their nearest Jaguar Land Rover dealership for an inspection and repair of the vehicle.
