What are the defects?

Due to a manufacturing fault, the strength of the camshaft chain tensioner may be insufficient. This may cause the engine to generate abnormal noises, and in some cases the engine to stall.

What are the hazards?

If the engine stalls, this increases the risk of injury or death to rider(s) and/or other road users.

What should consumers do?
