What are the defects?
The ABS hydraulic unit may have been contaminated with debris during the manufacturing process.
What are the hazards?
Contamination could result in improper functioning of the anti-lock braking system, allowing the user to lock the front or rear wheel during operation of the anti-lock braking system, creating the potential for a crash resulting in injury or death.
What should consumers do?
Kawasaki Motors will notify owner's affected by the recall by direct email or letter. Owner's will be directed to contact their nearest authorised Kawasaki Dealer to arrange for this recall to be performed free of charge.
