Sport Cap 2.0 is a black plastic cap fitted to Klean Kanteen bottles and sold as an accessory for Klean Kanteen bottles.
Reasons the product is recalled
If a bottle is dropped on the cap when it contains liquid, the Sport Cap 2.0 is prone to breaking or cracking.
The hazards to consumers
As the product is designed to go into the mouth, if the Sport Cap is broken or cracked, pieces may become dislodged in the mouth and present a choking or swallowing hazard.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop using the Sport Cap, unscrew it from the bottle and call 1800 102 806 as soon as possible to arrange a replacement at no charge.
