Model FS-8009. Batch number on label on the base of sandwich maker shows 08/07 and 12/07. Sold by ALDI stores throughout Australia from August 2007.
Reasons the product is recalled
Fixing screws securing the cooking plates to the plastic enclosure may dislodge with excessive force, exposing live wiring posing potential risk of electric shock. (For example consumer forces the sandwich maker around a sandwich that is too big).
