Nissan Motor Co (Australia) Pty Ltd — Nissan D23 Navara & R52 Pathfinder Series 1 Models

What are the defects?

Due to insufficient bolt torque, the nudge bar roll hoop fixing bolts may come loose causing the roll hoop to rattle and in rare instances, may detach from the vehicle.

What are the hazards?

If the bolted connections become detached or the components fail, the nudge bar may detach from the vehicle, posing an accident risk to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

What should consumers do?

Once parts availability is confirmed, Nissan will contact owners of affected vehicles at their last known address, with instructions to contact a Nissan dealership to arrange for the nudge bar to be reworked free of charge.

Owners can find their nearest dealership using the "Find a Dealer" tab at http://www.nissan.com.au/
