The MSH 125mm Multi-Sander is also known as the Ozito Home Workshop 380W Multi-Sander and was sold through Bunnings Australia wide and in Gunns Mitre 10 and Kemp & Denning Limited retail outlets in Tasmania. The sander is marked with approval number V0120.
Reasons the product is recalled
The Multi-Sander consists of a plastic hand-held body encasing a metal fan assembly with a circular sanding board underneath the head. It is possible that the balance fan in the plastic casing may suffer from metal fatigue during use which can result in malfunction.
What consumers should do
Cease use of the product immediately. Return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or to obtain a new model of sander or render the product inoperable or contact Ozito Industries to do so. Ozito Industries will pay the cost of postage.
