The rechargeable battery may contain manufacturing defects and may overheat

The hazards to consumers

The rechargeable battery pack may overheat and cause smoke, or ignite posing a fire or burn hazard.

What consumers should do

Immediately turn off the CF-H2 Panasonic Tablet computer and inspect it to see if it contains the defective battery with the part number CF-VZSU53AW and with the manufacturing lot numbers. Remove the battery (normally two per Tablet) and only use the Tablet with the AC Adapter and power cord from the mains power until the battery is replaced. Consumers should contact Panasonic to determine if their product is affected and to arrange a free replacement battery (or two per Tablet)
