What are the defects?

The scooter's rear and front sections may separate if the scooter is driven over a gutter kerb, an obstacle greater than the scooter's clearance, or dropped from a height.

What are the hazards?

The scooter will immediately stop and may tip over, posing a serious fall hazard to the user.

What should consumers do?

Immediately contact the dealer from whom they purchased the scooter to have a collar fitted to prevent the two sections separating.
