Product Safety Alert. Simpson Gas and Electric Stoves manufactured between 1992 and 2000. Westinghouse Gas and Electric Stoves manufactured between 1983 and 2000. (Excluding Simpson Nova, Simpson Supa-Nova and Simpson 2001).
Reasons the product is recalled
A potential hazard if these appliances are not correctly installed. Stabilising brackets provided with the stoves at time of purchase should be atttached to the wall.

What consumers should do
Customers who have the affected product should call Toll Free 1800 063 009 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm). Simpson and Westinghouse Service Staff will send out a new set of brackets which a qualified tradesperson should install according to instructions provided.
