Reasons the product is recalled
The pyjama top does not have the Low Fire Danger label in the correct location on the garment (i.e. in the collar). The garment does not therefore comply with the mandatory standard for chidren's sleepwear and limited daywear, AS/NZS 1249:2003, as amended by the regulation.
The hazards to consumers
Absence of the label on the collar could result in consumers being unaware of the fire danger rating for these garments.
What consumers should do
If the garment does not have the fire danger warning label in the collar, consumers should cease using the product immediately and return it to any Target store for a full refund.
