Telwater Pty Ltd — Savage 645C, Savage 655C and Savage 655C Hard Top Fibreglass Boats
What are the defects?
The bow section of the fibreglass hull structure may show signs of gelcoat crazing below the cabin area of the vessel. This may weaken over time to a point where the fibreglass structure could crack.
What are the hazards?
If the fibreglass structure cracks, the hull may crack allowing water into the boat. This could cause the boat to sink, causing serious injury or death to people onboard.
What should consumers do?
Customers should immediately stop using their boat and contact their nearest authorised Savage dealer for a full assessment of the hull structure.
If the defect relating to hull structure is identified the hull will be returned to Telwater for further evaluation. The defect will be rectified or a replacement product offered if rectification is not possible.
