Reasons the product is recalled
The DC battery recharge lead may be able to be inserted into a 240V socket.
The hazards to consumers
If the lead is inserted into a 240V socket the battery clamps will become live, potentially resulting in injury or death to the user.
What consumers should do
Consumers should not use the DC charging lead. Consumers should remove the DC charging lead and return it to the place of purchase for a replacement lead. Alternatively, consumers can call 03 9261 1917 to arrange the return of the lead and a replacement.
