TrueAlarm duct housing 4098-9755EA - Note that the duct housing itself is not affected, but the photoelectric sensor (4098-9714EA) contained within might be.
Reasons the product is recalled
The issue resulted from circuit board cleanliness during the manufacturing process. Residual contamination from a soldering process was not fully removed during a cleaning process. This contamination can potentially lower the sensitivity of the device to detect smoke under both high heat and high humidity conditions.

Equipment malfunction.
