Reasons the product is recalled
On the advice of NSW Fair Trading, Universal Enterprises, as a responsible supplier of giftware and homewares, is voluntarily recalling the above hot water bottles. The hot water bottles were offered for sale at Myer stores nationally between August 2008 and September 2009.
The hazards to consumers
These hot water bottles have been identified as not being of the required thickness. This failure could result in users suffering serious burns.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop using these products immediately and return to the place of purchase for a full refund. If a replacement is required please contact our head office, details below
