Reasons the product is recalled
The plastic end caps may not be securely fixed to the dive stick, allowing the metal weights to be accessed by infants.
The hazards to consumers
The plastic cap ends may come free and release the small metal weight inside, which may pose a choking hazard to young children.
What consumers should do
Customers should immediately cease using the dive sticks and return them to any Woolworths or Safeway store for a full refund.
