Pre-packed gourmet lettuce 200g with the Use By 27 Nov 2003 date. The packs are labelled Woolworths Fresh Brand Gourmet Lettuce 200g. The packs were delivered to Woolworths Supermarkets throughout Western Australia on Saturday 22nd or Sunday 23rd November.
Reasons the product is recalled
Testing of the product confirmed the presence of listeria monocytogenes, which is considered to be a potential health risk in the very young, elderly people, pregnant women and people immuno-compromised in any way.
