Reason the product is recalled

The 2 models of bicycles are provided with factory fitted mudguards and fork safety bolts in place. In some cases customers have removed the fork safety bolt and the mudguards. This is against the advice given on the bicycle user manual.

The hazards to consumers

If the safety bolt is not kept on the fork and if the fork breaks during use the rider may lose control and fall, possibly causing serious injury.

What consumers should do

Consumers should stop using the bicycle immediately and return it to the place of purchase to arrange for a replacement fork to be fitted, free of charge.
