What are the defects?
Mini jelly cups containing conjac (also known as glucomannan, konjac, konnyaku, konjonac, taro powder or yam flour) are permanently banned under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
What are the hazards?
If swallowed whole, the mini jelly cups can lodge in the throat and restrict air supply, posing a choking hazard.
