What should consumers do?
1. Consumers that purchased Acer notebooks during September 2010 to March 2015 should check the following website to determine if their power cords are affected:

2. Consumers should cease using the power cord immediately and request a free replacement power cord using the website.
3. Acer will send the replacement power cord by mail. Consumers should dispose of the affected LS-15 power cord.
