Reason the product is recalled
Due to internal corrosion, pressurised air may enter the affected transmitters and cause their plastic housing to burst.
The hazards to consumers
If the plastic housing bursts it may cause an injury including, but not limited to, an eye injury.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop using the affected transmitters immediately. Consumers who purchased the affected transmitters should contact their nearest authorised Suunto service centre or dealer to arrange for an inspection. Affected transmitters will be inspected, upgraded and, where necessary, replaced free of charge.
