What are the defects?
A manufacturing defect has resulted in the through holes on the Power Circuit Board becoming compromised and “open” over time due to a lack of proper thickness in the copper insulation in the walls of the through holes.
What are the hazards?
Due to this lack of thickness in the copper walls, current will increase on the Power Circuit Board possibly creating an abnormal hot spot, which could lead to overheating or smoking, presenting a potential fire hazard.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for inspection, and to receive a replacement or refund if affected.
