Reason the product is recalled
The toys contain batteries which can become accessible through normal use which does not comply with Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2003, as amended by Consumer Protection No. 1 of 2005.
The hazards to consumers
If young children gain access to the button batteries and ingest them, they may suffer internal burn injuries, which can result in serious illness and even death. In addition, the batteries may pose a choking hazard to young children.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop using the products and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
