The jacks do not comply with the mandatory standard for trolley jacks (based on the Australian/New Zealand Standard, AS/NZS 2615) in relation to:
• the performance requirements in Clause 6.4, Loss of height under load and
• the labelling requirements in Clause 7.1, Hydraulic trolley jack marking
• the performance requirements in Clause 6.4, Loss of height under load and
• the labelling requirements in Clause 7.1, Hydraulic trolley jack marking
The hazards to consumers
Vehicles supported by an unsafe or inappropriately used trolley jack can fall onto a person, creating a risk of injury or death.
What consumers should do
Customers should cease using the product immediately and send the product to PO BOX 3588, Centro Bankstown, Bankstown NSW 2200 for a full refund.
