What are the defects?
The seat belt harness may be missing stitching at attachment points.
What are the hazards?
The seat belt harness may not properly restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of serious injury or death in the event of an accident.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should stop using their vehicle and contact their local BRP Can-Am dealer to arrange an appointment for the seat belt harnesses to be inspected and, if necessary, replaced.
