Reason the product is recalled

Under certain circumstances, the adaptor between the gas supply and the appliance may crack, causing a potential gas leak.

The hazards to consumers

Leaking gas may cause an explosion.

What consumers should do

Any customer with this model should immediately check the appliance rating plate for the Model Number (E-Nr) and Batch Number (FD) then check their appliance at www.gascookingsafety.com to see if it is an affected model.

If affected or if there is any uncertainty, immediately shut off the gas supply to the appliance and then make contact with BSH Home Appliances Pty Ltd by phoning BSH toll-free on 1300 955 742 (Mon-Fri 24 hours/day), or visiting www.gascookingsafety.com. BSH will organise an authorised and trained repair agent to the customer's home and replace the relevant component.
