Reasons the product is recalled
There is a possibility that the handle may separate from the body of the vessel and may cause scalding if the vessel is holding hot water.

Scalding.
What consumers should do
Discontinue use immediately and call Breville on 1300 727 424 for the location of the nearest service agent who will inspect the kettle free of charge and replace the handle if required.
