These adaptors are typically used to connect portable gas appliances to LPG gas bottles. Purchased after 18 December 2001. The adaptors may have been purchased either packaged with a green and white backing card displaying the word Companion.
Reasons the product is recalled
The brass adaptors may fracture at the welded joint, resulting in a possible gas leak.
What consumers should do
The affected brass adaptors must not be used under any circumstances, if your adaptor is connected to a gas cylinder, turn off the gas cylinder and disconnect the adaptor. Return the adaptor to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
