Some Cannondale and GT Bicycles manufactured between the years of 1998 and 2015 may be affected the front quick release skewer striking the disc rotar on the front wheel of the bike.

Reason the product is recalled
A front quick-release cam lever that has a clearance of less than 6 millimetres and is improperly adjusted or left open while riding may come in contact with the front disc brake rotor.
The hazards to consumers
If the quick release lever contacts the front disc brake rotor, this may cause the front wheel to come to a sudden stop or separate from the bicycle, posing a risk of injury to the rider.
What consumers should do
Consumers should refer to the website www.quickrelease.com for details on how to check whether their bike is affected by the issue, if affected, take it to their local bike shop who will replace the front quick release lever free of charge.
