Reason the product is recalled
In some cases overheating of the batteries may occur.
The hazards to consumers
If the batteries overheat, there is a risk of fire.
What consumers should do
Immediately stop use of the product and contact the ALDI recall helpline on 13 25 34 for information on how to remove the product. Once removed, return the product to your nearest ALDI Store for a full refund.
If you do not feel confident, or if you do not have appropriate safety equipment to remove the CASALIFE LED Solar Sky Light, contact the ALDI recall helpline on 13 25 34. In the case that a customer does not feel safe or confident in removing the item, ALDI will reimburse reasonable costs associated for a tradesperson to remove the item (with proof of purchase). In cases where there is damage to property, ALDI will reimburse reasonable costs of tradespeople (with proof of purchase).
The ALDI recall helpline is open Monday-Saturday 8.30am to 5pm for NSW, Victoria, Queensland and SA. In WA the ALDI recall helpline is open Monday-Saturday 8am to 4pm.
