The internal batteries can overheat while charging and catch fire.
The hazards to consumers
There is a risk of serious injury or death. There is also risk of property damage.
Multiple incidents have occurred where the batteries have exploded, melted and caught fire, and a consumer has been injured.
What consumers should do
Stop using the product immediately and return it to any ALDI store for a full refund.
